CAPSAICIN (USP, “Natural”, “Purified”) CAS No 404-86-4 Glenford Intermediates, Inc. is the largest supplier of
Capsaicin raw material to the USA and Canada. We maintain large stocks for
prompt shipment. Capsaicin is the crystalline powder isolated from the ripe fruit of capsicum annum Linne (Solanaceae). Our flowering capsicum plants are grown in China and shipped to Japan where it is extracted and purified for us. Capsaicin is a white to off-white crystal, very soluble in ethanol, practically insoluble in water. Capsaicin (USP) contains NLT 90% and NMT 110% total
capsaicinoids which typically corresponds to 63% pure capsaicin. Our Capsaicin is the preferred form of capsaicin for pharmaceutical and cosmetic products where a white, pharmaceutically elegant finished product is required. It is packed in 1 Kg aluminum foil packets with 1 - 3 packets in a UN approved HazMat shipping container. Please contact us for special handling considerations and price quotations.
